Yoga Asanas to Get Flat Abs

Many of you would have tried to go hit the gym to get those abs that you can flaunt.
But did you know that yoga could bring in those abs that you need too?

Yoga asana has a variety of benefits associated with them, with flat abs being one.
If you are trying to lose fat and give way to a fitter you, especially in the abs area,
then all you need to do is try out these amazing asana which helps make your abs flat with regular practice.

1. Utkatasana –

This asana helps strength lower back muscles, spine muscles, and the chest. Stand straight on the yoga mat. Bend you’re knees so that the thighs become parallel to the ground and you reach a position as if you are sitting on a chair. Keeping your hands on your head, bend your torso and maintain this position for at least 30 seconds. Increase the timing slowly. Go back to normal position when done. Repeat as many times as you can.

Setubandhasana –

Better known as bridge pose it helps reduce abs and works on the hip joints too.
Lie down on the yoga mat. Exhale and push up and go off the floor with the feet.
The neck and head will remain on the mat flat while the rest of the body stays in the air.
Stay in this position for as long as you can and go back to starting position. Repeat as many times as you can.

Vinyasa Flow –

This asana helps tone the back, arms, and your abs. Start with the downward dog asana.
Lower your arms so that the entire upper body lowers down. Breathe out. Now lift the chest up and hold for a while.
Breathe out and go in plank pose. Hold again. Repeat the entire cycle 4 to 5 times at least.
