I’m starting to feel like an addict, and I’m not liking it. No, I’m not talking about drugs, or sex… unfortunately, I am talking about Game Of Thrones. Can you say “obsessed much?”
It’s like this, Game of Thrones isn’t even on anymore, and yeah we’re still reporting on it on a daily basis. Gotta hand it to these TV types, they sure are clever.
Word on the street is, Casey Bloys (HBO’s new programming chief)) has been talking with the show’s creators, David Benioff and D.B. Weiss, regarding the Game Of Thrones end date, and I hate to break it to you but it didn’t look too good. Turns out, season eight would indeed be the last one.
It seems as though they have a very specific plan about the number of seasons they are planning on doing.
“If I could get them to do more, I would take 10 seasons, but we want to take their lead with what they can do and what the best version of the show is,” said the chief.
An HBO spokesperson spoke to Buzzfeed and said, “Casey did confirm season eight, but didn’t really say for sure that’s the end.”
Okay, seriously, can someone just please tell us what’s going on already!? The anticipation is killing me!
