It seems as, although women have come so far and have truly advanced in the work field, even today are still being discriminated against and judged. For example, a working women isn’t considered independent, rather a snob, pushy, and in most cases a b-i-t-c-h.
Turns out, all that hard work finally payed off. A new study has found that money issues, including a wife’s ability to support herself, are not linked to higher divorce rates. What does predict whether a marriage will last however, is how couples decide to divide their work.
Back in 1975, women who did more housework were associated with lower divorce rates. Throughout the years, those statistics have changed, and studies have proven women who didn’t work as much, had a higher divorce rate.
This study serves an important role, canceling the theory that women who have jobs outside of the home is not healthy for their marriage.
So for all you women out there, don’t be scared…get out there and conquer the world!!
